Welcome to the Rudava Recreation Area
The Rudava Recreation Area is situated in the peaceful surroundings of the Lower Záhorie region. Its landscape is shaped by wind-blown sands, pine forests and the nearby Morava River with its floodplain forests.
It is an ideal destination for relaxing by the water, enjoying a family holiday or spending an active break in nature. The surrounding area offers opportunities for swimming, cycling, hiking, mushroom picking and paddling on the Morava and Dyje rivers.
At Autokemp Rudava, you can choose from several types of accommodation or arrive with your own tent or caravan. Come and relax while discovering the unique natural beauty of the Záhorie region.

Rudava Boathouse
The Rudava Boathouse offers everything you need for an active day by the water or on the beach. Directly at the campsite, you can hire pedal boats, rowing boats and kayaks and enjoy the lake from a new perspective.
You can also hire a volleyball court, beach sets with parasols and sun loungers, as well as various sports equipment, including balls.
Whether you are looking for exercise, family fun or peaceful relaxation by the water, you will find all the necessary equipment directly at the campsite.
Activities at the Campsite
At Autokemp Rudava, you can relax or enjoy an active holiday. The campsite offers areas for social gatherings and barbecues, as well as table tennis.
During the season, organised fitness activities such as Zumba are also available. Children can enjoy pony rides, while the whole family can have refreshments in the pleasant surroundings beneath the trees.
Lake Rudava and Water Quality
Lake Rudava was formed at a site where gravel extraction began in 1953. Groundwater gradually filled the excavated area, and the location became a popular destination for summer recreation.
Today, the lake covers more than 50 hectares and is surrounded by sandy shores and pine forests. Visitors can enjoy three maintained beaches, while the central beaches offer sandy surfaces and gently sloping access to the water.
The condition and quality of the water are regularly monitored by the relevant Regional Public Health Authority. The lake is also maintained using an ESO-X5 aquatic weed-cutting machine. Fishing is permitted along the shores of the lake under the applicable conditions.
Water quality in a natural lake may vary throughout the season depending on the weather, temperature and amount of rainfall. Before swimming, we therefore recommend checking the latest inspection results and information notices displayed throughout the recreational area. Visitors are also asked to follow the site manager’s instructions and help keep the lake and its surroundings clean.
